missingWrote a review on 25 Julparking spacecomfortable roomslimited dining
Plenty of parking space, making it easy to park even during peak times. The comfortable rooms offered good air conditioning relief from the summer heat.
The menu for dining lacks variety, with options focusing heavily on flammekueche that many found unappealing. Breakfast selections struggled with replenishment, leaving late risers with limited choices. The absence of in-room tea and coffee facilities made morning routines inconvenient, possibly frustrating for those who enjoy a warm drink to start their day.

The location is perfect for exploring key memorials of the Somme battlefields and offers great proximity to local bakeries for morning snacks. The comfortable beds provided a restful retreat after a day of trekking and visiting historical sites. The breakfast selection included boiled eggs and bacon, which was a fantastic start to our day.
The dining room was rather cold during our evening meals, making it less inviting.

I had a lovely stay and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and the comfortable double shower. There’s a nice garden area with chairs perfect for relaxing and sipping a drink. A cozy terrace for some fresh air. The only downside was some noise from other guests, but it didn't take away from my overall experience, and I'd recommend it for sure! 😊

The hotel's location was superb for exploring the Somme battlefields. Easy parking right outside made coming and going hassle-free. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Loved the breakfast with a decent selection of pastries, bread, cheeses, and cold meats. the dinner options left a lot to be desired. the menu felt very limited and the food quality was underwhelming. I faced delays during dinner service, and the food came out lukewarm. No meal should take that long, especially when the restaurant wasn’t full. I also noticed that there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, which was inconvenient in the mornings. The bathroom in my room was quite small, and every shower caused water to splash out and create a mess. While the staff were friendly, they seemed overwhelmed at times, particularly during busy periods. I could see potential for improvement, especially in the dining experience and room facilities. With some adjustments, this hotel could greatly enhance visitor satisfaction.

The breakfast spread is pretty solid, with croissants, French bread, and a decent selection of ham and cheese, giving you a good start for the day. There's a bar area with a variety of drinks and a comfy lounge for unwinding after a long day of exploring the nearby WW1 sites. A handy car park for those rolling in with a vehicle.
Unfortunately, the restaurant can really fall short during busy times, especially when a full house hits at dinnertime, resulting in long waits for food that sometimes arrives lukewarm. The lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities can be a hassle, especially when you want to kick off your day without heading downstairs just for a cup. That third bed in the triple rooms feels more like a camp bed than a proper sleeping arrangement. And let’s not forget the noise from other guests, where slamming doors and late-night chatter can be a real mood killer.

Had a fantastic group trip! The hotel made exploring the Upper Somme Valley a breeze, and visiting the museums and monuments was unforgettable. The breakfast was hearty. Highly recommend checking out the local walking tours while you're there. The place is super clean and the ladies at the bar are great, too.
On a downside, the bathrooms are quite small, which may be an issue for some guests, but we made it work.

Excellent Breakfast and Convenient Location
During my two-night stay, I enjoyed a variety of breakfast options, including freshly baked pastries and a selection of cheeses and cold meats. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the nearby WW1 sites, making it a perfect base for history enthusiasts. The room was clean and well-equipped, contributing to a pleasant experience overall. I found the seating in the room to be less comfortable than I would have preferred.
